Principal’s Welcome

Welcome to Discovery Bay International School, a school we as staff, students and a local community are extremely proud of. Discovery Bay International School was first established in 1983 and has been growing in size, strength and diversity as each year has passed.

This year is another significant time in our school's developing history, marked by the launch of our secondary school and the opening of our new Discovery Centre. We will begin with provision for Year 7 students this year, expanding into Year 8 and beyond in consecutive years to come. We believe the new and enhanced opportunities provided for our Primary and Secondary students will be second to none, continuing on our strong tradition of quality education in a supportive and challenging learning environment.

We have experienced and qualified staff committed to providing quality and varied learning opportunities for your child. Our staff brings a wide range of proven international experience to our school.

Our school community, comprising of the parents, the Friends of the School organisation, the school staff, the Advisory Committee and the School Council have formed a very special partnership that operates to the benefit of all students.

Discovery Bay International School is a family school where caring for each other occurs in an environment that promotes consideration, cooperation and courtesy. Our curriculum has a strong emphasis on, and high expectations of our students in all areas. We strive to provide rich and meaningful learning experiences in support of the curriculum and extra curricular areas.
