Secondary School
Our Secondary School staff is made up of fully qualified, internationally recruited secondary teachers.
English, mathematics, history, geography, PSHCE and foreign languages are taught in purpose built classrooms. The sciences, art, technology and ICT are taught in the Discovery Centre and physical education is taught in our gymnasium and on our multi purpose sports field.
Planning and development is now underway for a major building project that will see our new secondary school campus opening for the 2011 school year. Our new secondary school will continue to provide quality learning opportunities within a purpose built facility and superb campus, further catering for the secondary needs of students within Discovery Bay.
The provision of secondary schooling at DBIS has been established in direct response to community need and builds on the quality Kindergarten and Primary schooling currently provided at DBIS.
