What's Been Happening in Year 6
Kung Hei Fat Choi!
Year 6 children are back and working as hard as ever! They have been busy preparing their individual research projects ready to present in the form of TED talks. They chose their focus based on the research they did in their ‘deeper dive’ sessions before half term. We are currently refining the speeches in order to be truly convincing.
We were excited to be joined by so many parents in our open morning last week. If you did not have a chance to see your child’s work, there is lots to look at on the Google Classrooms. Enjoy!
In other news, ask your children about #ChooseKind, our new initiative. We have been writing compliment cards for each other and finding lots of ways to spread positivity around the school. Have you noticed any random acts of kindness being performed at home recently?
The teaching team are looking forward to leading our transition camp in the first week after Easter. All camp information is on the parent portal including this week’s presentation. Could parents please ensure they have checked this and made payment of $1800 by Monday 19th March.
