What's going on in Nursery - Rainforest?

Music, Library, ICT, PE, Mandari

Specialist lessons in Music, Library, PE, ICT and Mandarin  will be held  during school time each week.

·        Every Tuesday and Wednesday Rainforest will visit the DBIS Music room to have music lessons with Ms Tanya Balka.

·        We will visit the DBIS Library on every Thursday and listen to stories from Mrs. Dot Caddis, who is our librarian.

·        Our computer lessons will be from Mrs Leanne Noble on every alternate Monday.

·      Mandarin will be taught on each Monday and Thursday by Mrs Vivian Gu.

·      Our class will have PE every Monday and Friday with our specialist PE teacher.

  Please ensure that your child comes to school on these days dressed in appropriate PE clothing and footwear.

Show and Tell

This is a special part of the day when the students can share with us a little part of their home life. They can bring in almost anything, such as: a photograph; a special book; teddy or toy; and we keep their treasures in our special show and tell basket. Show and Tell provides a wonderful opportunity for the students to practise their speaking and listening skills and develop the confidence to speak to a large group of friends. It is a very enjoyable part of the day but relax, especially in the early days, the children only participate if they really want to.
