Deirdre McCarthy & Adele Hodgson
We celebrated Rosh Ha Shana (Jewish New Year) with Raffy and his mother Debbie.
We had a traditional sweet snack of crunchy juicy apples, dipped in honey and later we had yummy honey cake for a sweet year to come. The pomegranates you can see in the photos were made by our Seaside students.
Thank you to Debbie and Raffy for sharing this festival with us.

Our first IPC unit for this term is, 'All about me." Throughout this theme the children will engage in a variety of fun, hands on activities that will enable them to explore and learn all about themselves and their friends. We will be learning all of our friends' names. We will look at hair colour, colour of our eyes and skin and we will be busy learning lots of different songs related to the theme.
We would be very grateful if you could provide one named photograph of your child as as baby. This will be displayed on our welcome board inside the classroom and will be returned at the end of this unit.
Our focus for this week (13.9.10) is learning our birthdays and our daily routine.
