What's going on in Reception - Harbour?

Hi everyone,

This week was all about friends and the sequence of events in their day. We did all kinds of activities to make sure that the children were trying to make new friends in the class. Some of them have learned the names of others. They all paired up to make a portrait of a friend as well as a friendship necklace.  

Each child made a little booklet using pictures of events that happen during their day. They learned to sequence them and talk about their day. More pictures will be added in them later on.

Our main focus next week will be talking about the people who help us in our school and the school family (librarian, secretary, head mistress, nurse,...). We will meet everyone and will make them a little treat to show us we care about them.

We will also continue to talk about feelings and learn how to express ourselves using the feelings words.
