Green Week activities: If you need any further information about the following activities please come and see me:
Big Green Competition - Closing Date - Thursday 9 February - please take your entry to the Yr 1/2 area
Bling Box - Rubbish free lunchbox - Thursday 9 February
Walk to School Bus and Green Dress up (wear green) - Friday 10 February
Please keep an eye open for the script for our class assembly. It will be coming home this week and we would appreciate you having a look at this with your child at home.

What's going on in Year 1 - Y1FW?
We will continue to be testing the children on their high frequency words every Friday. Please make sure the children are looking at these words at home and that their diary is in their reading folder every Friday.
We will be sending an extra reading booking home on a Monday. This will be an unseen text and should be returned to school on a Tuesday.

Our new IPC topic at the beginning of Term 2 is all about the Circus. See what you kind find out about the Circus and be prepared to share with your frineds in class. Please remember to pack a school hat and a water bottle every day for school. No hat, no play.
PE sessions - Monday afternon (children should bring their PE kit to school) and Thursday morning (the children should come to school in PE kit and bring their school uniform to school). It is important that children have the appropriate PE kit in school or they will not be able to particpate in PE sessions.
Library will be on a Tuesday - please make sure your child has a seperate library folder.
