WELCOME TO SCHOOL YEAR 2010/2011!
Thank you all for taking the time to come and talk to me about your children - I think you'll agree we have a super class!
They have all settled in very well indeed and are rising to the challenges of Year 5. Individual wikis are up and running and each child is responsible for his or hers.
Some help needed please!! If you would like to volunteer to be our class parent please let me know as soon as possible. We only need two people to help run our class' participation in the DBIS fair etc. Many thanks.

What's going on in Year 5 - Y5LP?
Hopefully we will have the children blogging about their experiences in Y5LP. They will take it in turns each week so be sure to check out their efforts. More details will follow soon.
There will be homework set each day and it will usually follow this pattern:
Mon - spelling and reading
Tues - maths and reading
Wed - IPC and reading
Thurs - maths and reading
Fri - reading
Some homework will be attached to their individual wiki.
Be sure to check out www.braintrain4kids.com - a great way to learn about your brain!
Homework for Wednesday 8 September: write the rules for internet safety (as discussed) on to your wiki. Illustrate if you can. Make it look interesting!
Remember you can add to your wiki at home as much as you want!
