Year 5 - Y5AW

What's going on in Year 5 - Y5AW?

We have had a busy week in Y5AW. Last week we went into the DT room to make salt dough and create a model of a neuron. We have been looking at learning and how it is linked to the dendrites of neurons. It was a messy afternoon but we all ended up with fabulous colourful models.

Next week we start our 'Making Things Go' topic which is all about energy and fuels. We have another visit to the Science Museum on September 22nd and this time our focus is their section all about power.
