Y6HS - everything with a smile!
Welcome back Y6HS! A new year and a new teacher! Well not exactly, you may remember me as Mrs Jordan but now I am Mrs Seirinakis and I am very much looking forward to the year ahead!
We have already got underway with our new IPC unit, 'The Physical World', looking at many scientific concepts such as forces, electricity, magnets, light and sound to name a few. The first few weeks have also seen us getting to know each other, playing some fun games such as 'In You Face' and 'Sausages' and also seen me carrying out many assessments to ensure the children are in the right groups. The children have also just started the first round of Enrichment with Miss Hulland and will be partaking in a variety of activities within topics such as Japanese Animation, Future Fashion, Optical Art and the United Nations. In just under 2 months we have our China trip to Hangzhou to look forward to and if you have any questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact me. My door is always open!
