Drugs information Evening: A Drugs awareness information evening is scheduled for this Monday 21 March 7.00-8.30 pm. An invitation is extended to include all families of secondary-aged students within the Discovery Bay Community. The speaker for the evening is Dr Mark Gandolfi from St John's. He intends to run an interactive session with opportunities for parents to ask questions. Please email with numbers, if you wish to attend. As this is now a community event, registering your interest is paramount so we can provide the most suitable venue.
"The Blessing in the Park", Sunday 20 March 4pm in Siena Park: Cats, dogs, hamsters - all pets are welcome to a Pet Blessing at the rotunda in Siena Park. This is a first for Discovery Bay, and is an initiative of pet loving children in the community. All denominations welcome! Fr Mark Rogers of Discovery Bay Church presiding. Parent–teaching Korean Mother Tongue: Classes are being held on every Saturday Morning from 9:30 – 11:00 am. Students from all the primary year groups are welcome! All the participating parents are to volunteer taking a turn to teach students on a weekly basis. A new Korean class for next term will be starting right after the Easter break.
