Special Notice - Wednesday 24 June

Dear Parents

I am sorry to inform you that I have been advised by the Education Bureau that there is to be no resumption of our Kindergarten and Primary School (including Year 7) this school year.  Normal classes will resume at the notified start to our 2009 – 2010 school year on Thursday 20 August.

Collection of Student Books:  All teachers have your child’s books and belongings ready to be picked up from their respective classes.  Please call in to collect your child’s books by 12:00 pm on Friday 26 June and also return any school library books or reading books.  

If you wish to collect your child’s books and any related work during the summer break, please enquire at the Kindergarten or School office.  Any student books or related work not collected prior to Friday at 12:00 pm or during the summer break will be held in your child’s 2009 – 2010 classroom.  The student books or related work can then be collected at the start of our new school year. 

School Reports:  School Reports will be ready collection on this Friday, 26 June.  Reports may be collected by you as the parent, or by an authorised person on Friday (a note from parents will be required in this instance).  School Reports that are not distributed or collected Friday 26 June will be posted out to parents on Monday 29 June.

Newsletter:  A final Newsletter for this year will be sent out to everyone tomorrow.

Summer School:  Information received today from the Education Bureau indicates that we will be able to operate our Summer School Programme.  We are in the process of confirming numbers for each course and will be in touch with you very soon should minimum numbers not be reached for any course.  Should this be the case your enrolment fees will be returned to you immediately.  

The Education Bureau has noted a range of precautionary health and hygiene measures that we will take care to implement.  We do ask that any students attending a Summer School course refrain from attending if they feel at all unwell.
