Moodle is a learning platform designed to provide educators, administrators and learners with a single robust, secure and integrated system to create personalised learning environments.
At DBIS, we use Moodle across all three phases of the school as our Virtual Learning Environment. Students and teachers use it during the day at school to work independently or collaboratively on various topics and it can also be accessed at home for homework.
students can navigate their way to specific lessons and have instant access to websites which we recommend and subscribe to. There are specific areas which your child will have access to, depending on their age, and other areas which are generic areas.
For example, a Year 3 student will only be able to see the learning materials for Y3 by using their Google Passwords. The Year 3 student will also have open access to: Library, Student Voice, ECAs etc.
To access DBIS Moodle and the other elearning subscriptions, your child will need their login information which is provided by the IT team and is sent home when your child joins the school.
