What's Been Happening in Year 6
Busy times are upon us!
It has been a fun filled week in Y6 with a range of sporting events, including the swimming gala and sports afternoon. Children participated enthusiastically with many personal best scores smashed. Sports Leaders and House Captains have been cheerfully assisting other year groups in the smooth running of break time and lunchtime events.
In class, children are using the conceptual lenses of origins and transition to investigate different migrants and their life stories. We have been researching Malala as a class and writing biographies in preparation for picking our own migrants.
Each class is soon to visit the LEAP van for our annual experience. The LEAP van visits schools around Hong Kong and we are keen supporters of the charity.
The countdown to Guilin is almost over with excitement building day by day. Be sure to double check the kit lists and communicate any last minute medical updates to Class Teachers ASAP.
