Year 11 news
Year 11 excelling both inside and outside the classroom……
Last week saw our Year 11s take their education outside of the classroom. Our annual Week Without Walls whisked some students away to China, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and others to the closer shores of Sai Kung. I hope all have had an enjoyable week learning new skills, overcoming new challenges, making new friends and giving back to the community. A big thank you to the trip leaders for facilitating the wide range of activities, both in and out of Hong Kong.
Please be reminded that the A-Level Options Evening will be held next Wednesday 14 November from 6:30pm in The Globe. For the first portion of the evening we will talk through the process of selecting options and the support resources available. After which, students and parents will have the opportunity to meet with subject teachers to learn more about what each course entails and potential university pathways.
Another important date to note - Monday 19 November marks the beginning of mock examinations. Students will be on study leave for the two-week period, however there will be a study room available to them during this time. Students are encouraged to take advantage of this working space, and to be reminded that teachers will be on hand to provide guidance and support during timetabled lesson periods, if needed.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish the Year 11 students good luck in their mock examinations, and am sure all of their hard work will pay off.
