Parent Teacher Student Association

At DBIS, we are honoured to be part of the diverse, enthusiastic and generous community of Discovery Bay. The unique characteristics of our vibrant community make it possible for the PTSA to pursue its missions, namely:

To provide support to the school, to raise funds and to provide financial assistance both within the school and for external charities.

To create a warm and enriching environment in which our children can learn and thrive.

To develop a team of dedicated and energetic volunteers who can work with parents, staff and students to provide practical help for initiatives and events.

Our sense of community is what makes DBIS special. Major events such as the International Food Fair and Carols on the Pitch are always popular, well attended and remain the highlights of our calendar. Through these and other events, the PTSA raises funds that are used to enrich the experience of our students and families through a multitude of activities, including music events and sports tournaments.

Each year, the PTSA continues to add value by connecting DBIS families through collaborative community spirit. We hope that our plans will enable everyone to be connected and more involved whilst observing all prevailing safety rules. Throughout the year, we aim to organise and host fun, family-friendly events to celebrate the diverse multicultural DBIS environment.

We welcome and encourage all to engage with our community to make a difference!

If you would like to get involved or want to share an idea with us, please contact us at: ptsa@dbis.edu.hk. We always welcome any questions about our organisation and its methods and practices. We are a friendly crew and are always happy to listen and learn.

Warm regards,

Niamh Daniels
